Piezoelectric Accelerometer
The CA134 piezoelectnc accelerometer is a vioration sensor wth a piezoelectic sensing element that proves a charge outout, Accordinaly an external charasamplifier (lPC707 signal conditioner), is required to convert this charge-based signal into a current or a voltage signal.
The CA134 is designed and buit for longterm use in extreme envronments characterised by high temperatures and/or hazardous areas (potentially explosivatmospheres).The accelerometer is equipped with a 2-meter long mineral insulated (MI) cable with double braiding, suitable for high temperature and harsh environment use.
Mineral Insulated Cable (MI cable for short) is a high-performance cable that uses inorganic mineral materials as the insulation layer. It is commonly used in extreme environments such as high temperature and high corrosion. Its core structure consists of copper conductor, magnesium oxide (MgO) insulation layer and copper sheath, and has unique physical and chemical properties.
