  • Basic Attribute: Manufactured by Bently Nevada (an Emerson brand), this is an eddy current proximity probe under the 3300/3500 machinery protection system series, with origin marked as Germany. It features a compact form factor (standard probe dimensions for 3mm-range models) and an IP65 protection rating, fully compatible with Bently Nevada’s 3300/3500 monitoring modules. It acts as a core component for measuring vibration, shaft displacement, and rotational speed of industrial rotating equipment.
  • Core Specifications: Operates on the eddy current principle, with a measuring range of 0–3mm (gap between the probe and ferromagnetic target, e.g., 42CrMoA). Its output is a 0–20mA DC signal, linearly correlated with the measured gap. Operating temperature range: -40℃~121℃; storage temperature range: -55℃~150℃. It supports a 0–10kHz frequency response, enabling high-dynamic performance for fast-changing motion measurements.
  • Key Functions: Enables real-time monitoring of radial/axial vibration, shaft position, and rotational speed of rotating machinery (e.g., turbines, motors, compressors). It converts mechanical gap variations into stable electrical signals, with inherent resistance to oil, dust, and electromagnetic interference—suited for harsh industrial environments. It also supports on-site calibration to maintain long-term measurement accuracy.
  • Application Scenarios: Widely deployed in power generation, petrochemical, oil & gas, and marine industries. Integrated into Bently Nevada’s machinery protection systems, it mitigates equipment damage risks from excessive vibration or displacement, minimizing unplanned downtime.
