Protected earth ground The Safety Ground Bar (located in the lower left hand corner of the cabinet) is the location of the protective earth ground terminal. The protected earth ground conductor must be connected to the protected earth ground terminal prior to connecting AC wiring (AC1 and AC2). To connect the protected earth ground conductor to the ground terminal, 10AWG thru 6AWG (4.0-16.0 mm2) conductor can be used.
