EPRO Eddy Current Sensor PR6423/002-030+CON021

  • Basic Attribute: Manufactured by EPRO, it is an eddy current displacement sensor. With a probe diameter of 8mm, it adopts M10×1 threaded mounting and is equipped with an 8-meter non-armored cable. Boasting an IP66 protection rating, it has no moving parts and no mechanical wear, ensuring strong long-term operational stability. Compatible with the CON021 signal converter, it is a key component for condition monitoring of large rotating machinery.
  • Core Specifications: The measuring range is 2mm, with an initial air gap of 0.5mm and a scale factor of 8V/mm. The linear deviation is only ±0.025mm at 0 - 45℃. The sensor operates at -35℃~200℃, and the cable works at -35℃~150℃. It is suitable for ferromagnetic target surfaces such as 42CrMo4.
  • Key Functions: Adopting non-contact measurement, it can accurately monitor radial vibration, axial displacement, eccentricity and rotational speed of the shaft. It converts gap changes into electrical signals, resists electromagnetic interference and adapts to harsh working conditions. Complying with international standards like API 670, some versions have explosion-proof functions and support Modbus RTU communication for easy system integration.
  • Application Scenarios: Widely used in power, petrochemical and other industries, it is suitable for steam turbines, compressors, gearboxes and other equipment. It enables fault early warning, supports rotor dynamics research and part dimension inspection, reduces unplanned downtime, and provides data support for the safe operation and preventive maintenance of equipment.
