CI854AK01 ABB PROFIBUS-DP/V1 Interface Module

  • CI854AK01 is a dedicated PROFIBUS DP interface module belonging to ABB’s 800xA product family. Designed specifically for AC 800M controllers, it supports PROFIBUS DP/V1 communication protocols and comes with redundant PROFIBUS lines for enhanced operational reliability.
  • This module acts as a reliable bridge between the AC 800M and PROFIBUS DP networks. It can directly connect to PROFIBUS DP slave devices, including S800 and S900 remote I/Os. For PROFIBUS PA slave devices, users only need to pair it with the PROFIBUS linking device LD 800P to achieve seamless connection.
  • The module works with the TP854 baseplate, which is equipped with two female DB9 connectors to support line redundancy for PROFIBUS DP connections. What’s more, the baseplate features a code lock mechanism that effectively prevents the installation of mismatched units, avoiding potential system faults caused by incorrect module pairing.
  • As a PROFIBUS DP master unit, CI854AK01 can connect up to 124 slave devices at most, fully meeting the expansion needs of medium and large-scale industrial control systems.
